Scream Plus Real-Time 4K/2K/HD Grain Manager
  Scream Plus is a 4K/2K/HD resolution-independent grain and noise management tool for the Spirit
  4K/2K/HD telecines and scanners, which are part of the DFT DataCine® product family.

New Algorithm
A brand new algorithm, developed by the DFT Digital Film Technology Spirit engineering team, integrates seamlessly into the Spirit family of real-time scanning products. The Scream Plus algorithm manages the fine and subtle structure of the film grain during the scanning stage.
Scream Plus uses twice the normal spatial temporal filtering, which improves motion processing. This avoids blur, even for fast and high speed motion scanning. Grain intensive film stocks can be processed with increased resolution using the new Scream Plus. Scream Plus provides more latitude for the operator by emphasizing transversal filters and utilizing recursive filters at the very end of the RGB setting range.
